A leading plastics manufacturing company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Manager to lead thier operations and drive continuous improvement. Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality PET and HDPE containers, dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of production in our Memphis facility, managing daily operations, ensuring quality control, optimizing processes, and leading a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in blow molding processes and a strong background in plastics manufacturing.
Plant Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production of PET and HDPE containers.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and ensure optimal production efficiency and quality standards.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements; implement quality control measures to minimize defects and waste.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the plant budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving initiatives.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Promote a safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and conducting regular safety training for staff.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, operational performance, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  Plant Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in plant management within the plastics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in blow molding processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing production operations and driving efficiency improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
